Spaventoso incidente nella galleria Sant’Antonio al Monte, sulla Rieti-Terni in direzione Ascoli Piceno dove si registra purtroppo un morto. L’incidente è avvenuto, martedì 16 aprile 2019, poco prima delle 10. Nel sinistro sono stati coinvolti due mezzi e come scrive Il Messaggero, ha perso la vita un anziano di 91 anni che era alla guida di una Peugeot 206; illeso il conducente di un furgone.
Secondo una prima ricostruzione, sembra che l’auto guidata dall’anziano abbia imboccato la galleria contro mano, fino a scontrarsi con altri mezzi. Sul posto è arrivato il personale sanitario del 118, i vigili del fuoco e l’Anas.
